For information contact: Diana Moya, President@VAGF.org

Be our guest at a Garden Party in Historic Downtown Frisco!

This is a FREE family event for Saturday, July 14th at 11:00 am at the Downtown Gazebo. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy some music, free drinks, hot dogs and hamburgers. You are welcome to bring small flowers to plant and tag with your name as a present to our Historic Downtown. VAGF will help you design a family seal. Remember to bring the artist in your family for some spontaneous painting with artist T. Scott Stromberg.

Mayor Simpson will accept the new mural from VAGF. This mural is inspired by Frisco's Heritage and water conservation.

The Visual Arts Guild of Frisco adopted the Downtown Gazebo this year and invited other local organizations to collaborate in the beautification of this space. The Frisco Garden Club designed a new "Water Wise Garden" to be planted this fall. To also support this project the Teen Team of our local Boys & Girls Club helped with the painting and the GS Troop #362 donated and takes care of the beautiful flower boxes you see around the Gazebo.

Sponsored by the Frisco Association for the Arts. This project is made possible by the generosity of the Garden Club, the Boys and Girls Club, the Girl Scouts, Sunbelt Rentals, Power Wash, Sherwin Williams, Moya Capital, Don Poncho, Rafael Gregorio, Carla Campbell and the Hardeman Family. Additional contributions by the City of Frisco, Parks and Recreation, and FAA.

A very special thanks to Frisco Square for providing us the space to teach children, not only our craft but also to respect the work of others.

New clothing and school items will be collected for Small World's "Back to School Program." Volunteers are always welcome.
