The Frisco Ballet announces performance dates for "The Nutcracker"

Tickets are now on sale for The Frisco Ballet's production of The Nutcracker, a holiday delight for children and families of all ages. The ballet production is scheduled for November 11th at Centennial High School with 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm performances. Tickets may be purchased at Sheena's Dance Academy, located at 7975 Stonebrook Parkway in Frisco, or by calling The Frisco Ballet, 972-731-0361.

The Frisco Ballet, a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization, was established in 1999 by company executive/artistic director Sheena Laramore. The Frisco based ballet company.s 2005 sold out production of Cinderella brought the joy and beauty of classical ballet to Frisco. In addition to Cinderella and The Nutcracker, The Frisco Ballet has also performed such ballet favorites as Coppelia, A Holiday Extravaganza, and Giselle. Dancers with The Frisco Ballet through the years have auditioned and been accepted into some of ballets most reputable companies (American Academy of Ballet, Joeffrey Ballet, Atlanta Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, School of American Ballet, Boston Ballet, to name a few). In addition to the summer intensive study scholarships awarded in 2006 to several TFB company members from the Frisco Association for the Arts and support from the Texas Commission on the Arts, dancers continue to receive scholarships to some of the most respected dance programs and colleges throughout the country.
