Collin County Ballet Theatre and Guild are happy to announce their 2007 Gala, "Dancing in the Stars", at the Westin Stonebriar Resort in Frisco on March 31st.

Supporters of the arts and dance in Dallas are invited to attend this delightful annual event featuring fine dining, dancing and a silent auction, all to benefit Collin County Ballet Theatre. The dancing will include demonstrations and lessons in various dance forms from ancient dances of the East to Salsa as well as a performance by the CCBT Company. For the silent auction, guests will also have an opportunity to bid on exotic, beautiful and useful items and services.

All proceeds of the Gala and auction go to benefit Collin County Ballet Theatre, a non-profit ballet company that serves the North Dallas community, drawing dancers and audiences from Dallas, Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen and beyond. Founders and directors, Kirt and Linda Hathaway, have lead the company for six successful years, putting on annual performances of the Nutcracker with the Plano Symphony Orchestra, as well as performances of Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Coppelia, Peter and the Wolf, repertory performances with choreography by local and regional masters, and various festival appearances.
