Collin County Ballet Theatre is proud to announce Ashton Leonard as Clara in CCBT's 2007 production of The Nutcracker! Ms. Leonard was announced as this year's Clara this past week at a press conference at Frisco Association for the Arts office, located in downtown Frisco, Texas.

Miss Leonard began her ballet training at the Hathaway Academy of Ballet when she was 6. Her past roles in The Nutcracker include Snowflake, Flower, Friend of Clara, member of the Rat Army, Angel, King Rat Attendant, Baker, Little Sister, Toy Soldier, Chinese Tea Maiden and Lemonade Sea Sprite. Miss Leonard lives in Plano and is currently a company member of CCBT. She is an 8th grader at Prince of Peace Catholic School.

Collin County Ballet Theatre wishes to acknowledge Frisco Association for the Arts for being a major sponsor of the Frisco Nutcracker. Other significant sponsors include the Westin Stonebriar Resort and Frisco Style Magazine.
