DFW International Community Alliance presents the first annual Fiesta Latinoamericana!, Latin American Fiesta,
on Saturday, March 17 at 7:00 pm, St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, 5801 W. Plano Parkway (just east of the
Tollway), in Plano. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance from the DFW International
website.
Sponsored by the City of Plano, the Festival presents Latin American dance, poetry, and live music —
food for the soul with a Latin American flavor. For the first time in North Texas, the rhythms of five
Latino cultures resound. Participants in this lively multimedia presentation include:
- Trio Folklorico Argentino
- Danzas Folklóricas del Centro Argentino
- Ayubu Kamau (West Africa)
- La Trulla Boricua (Puerto Rico)
- Burundanga Boricua de Puerto Rico
- Cuicani in Xochitl (Indigenous Mexico)
- Daniel de Córdoba Bailes Españoles
- Gustavo Tolosa (Argentine pianist)
- Cantares (Chile)
- Voces y Danzas de Chile

and cultural calendar.
