Frisco dance student to study with the Joffrey Ballet this summer

Frisco resident, Morgan Keith, a ballet, jazz, and lyrical dance student under the direction of Sheena Laramore at Sheena's Dance Academy for the past 8½ years and The Frisco Ballet or the past 5 years, was recently accepted and invited to study this summer at the Joffrey Ballet in New York. The Joffrey Ballet is one of the most respected, professional companies in the dance world today. Morgan, now 14 years old, has also completed auditions to study with the Orlando Ballet, Ballet Austin, and The American Academy of Ballet.

After accepting the invitation, summer 2006, Morgan traveled to New York to study at the American Academy of Ballet. She was awarded a scholarship grant from the Frisco Association for the Arts, assisting her studies at The American Academy of Ballet.
