At the Frisco Arts Foundation, we believe in giving new organizations the opportunity and support to grow and thrive in their community.

The Emerging Arts Organization grant will be awarded to an emerging organization in the arts who shows a unique potential to enrich the arts landscape of Frisco.

This grant is funded by generous donors of the Frisco Arts Foundation. 

  who can apply?  
 

To qualify, the organization must be located in

the DFW area and be considered an

active organization for no longer than three years.

 

  what is funded?  
 

  • Operating expenses

  • These expenses include materials, labor, equipment, and production costs involved in creating your product or delivering your service.

  • Development of promotional marketing materials, including websites, social media, digital portfolios, and printed materials. 

  • Anything contributing to the creative practitioner’s own professional development, such as development and training programs, webinars, workshops, and classes in the arts and/or business disciplines.

  • Startup costs

  • Expenses associated with the process of creating your new business, including research expenses, license/permit fees, technological expenses, equipment/supply costs, marketing costs, and employee expenses.

  how much is funded?  
 

The approved grant recipient will receive a grant of $2,500.

  when is the application due?  

 

Applications are available online through September 16th, 2022. Awards will be given during the Frisco Arts Walk and Run opening ceremony on October 1, 2022 at HALL Park.
