Summer Training Scholarships
Supporting Future Creative Professionals
This program awards a scholarship to talented, future arts professionals to support and further their studies in their chosen field. The selected winner(s) will receive a scholarship of $500 to further their studies in their chosen disciplines in a summer workshop, program, or intensive. Students must have registered via text club to join the Frisco Arts Youth Ambassadors.

Eligibility: 6th - 11th grade students who are legal US and Texas residents and members of the Frisco Arts Youth Ambassadors.

Intent: To support active student arts advocates who desire to receive more training through workshops, summer programs, and intensives during the summer months.

Application Essay: In 600 words or less, please share why you believe the arts are important, why you love your area of arts discipline, and what you hope to achieve through the summer training program.

Video: Please provide a 1-minute video of sample performance or artwork. It can be excerpts from previous performances or artwork.

Deadline: Due by May 19th 2021 11:59 PM CST. Winner(s) will be notified by May 21st, and awarded the scholarships on Sunday the 23rd at the Patios at the Rail in Downtown Frisco.
